Leaf salad with Gorgonzola and caramelized pears

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ head of lettuce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 60 g Gorgonzola
  • 1 pear(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Olive oil or pumpkin seed oil
  • Balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

sophisticated starter

Wash the lettuce, tear it into small pieces, and arrange it on a plate. Cut the pear into eighths and core it (you can also peel it if you like). Heat the sugar in a pan and let it caramelize. Deglaze the caramelized sugar with the balsamic vinegar. Add the pear pieces and fry for about 3 minutes. Marinate the salad with olive oil or pumpkin seed oil, salt and pepper, and a little balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle the Gorgonzola, broken into small pieces, over the salad. Finally, arrange the pears on top of the salad. Bread goes well as a side dish.
