Pesto Burger

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 jar pesto, green
  • 1 jar tomato(s), dried
  • some Parmesan
  • some arugula
  • 4 burger patties OR
  • 500 g minced meat
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Hamburger, Italian

Bake the buns in the oven according to the package instructions and fry the finished burger patties. If using fresh ground beef: Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, shape into flat circles and fry thoroughly in a pan. Now cut open the buns and spread with pesto. Place the patties on the underside of the bun. Top with arugula, sun-dried tomatoes and some freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Place the top of the bun on the burger. The burger is now ready to serve. If the burger wobbles, pierce the top with a toothpick, for example, all the way into the patty and let your guests know. Serve with fries or sweet potato fries.
