  • 5 tbsp low-fat milk

  • Flour , for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wonderful sweet breakfast treat, for 12 pieces

Whisk together the sugar, salt, vanilla, quark, oil, and milk, then mix the flour with the baking powder and knead in. Finally, knead in the chocolate. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle. Divide this into 6 rectangles, then cut each in half diagonally. This will give you 12 triangles, which you then roll out, starting at the short end, into small croissants and place on one or two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Brush them with a little milk or egg/egg yolk/egg white to give them a nicer appearance. Bake for 20 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat). The croissants are still delicious even half a day later and also make a good afternoon snack.
