Macaroni and Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 3 eggs (size M)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 200 ml tomato juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 100 g corn, drained (can)
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • some butter, for greasing

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Break the macaroni into small pieces and cook in boiling salted water until al dente. Trim the broccoli, divide it into florets, and cook it in the pasta water for the last 5 minutes. Whisk together the eggs, milk, and tomato juice; season generously with salt and pepper. Dice the ham slices. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Drain the pasta and broccoli, mix with the ham and corn, place in a greased baking dish, and pour the egg mixture over the slices. Arrange the mozzarella slices on top and bake for 30 minutes.
