Flambéed strawberries with green pepper

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp orange liqueur
  • ⅛ liter rum, white
  • 1 tbsp pepper, green
  • Ice cream, vanilla

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean and wash the strawberries, quarter one half, and halve the rest. Mix the powdered sugar and orange liqueur together and let the quartered strawberries steep for about an hour. Heat a pan over high heat and add the strawberry quarters with the marinade and pepper. Bring to a boil briefly. Pour the rum into a ladle, pour it over the strawberries, and light it (BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!). Place the strawberry halves in a bowl and stir in the flambéed strawberries. Serve everything with vanilla ice cream.
