Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 50 g sugar, white
- 50 g sugar, brown
- 1 dl orange juice
- 500 g strawberries, in pieces
- 6 tbsp Cointreau
- 4 tbsp crème fraîche
- mint
- 4 scoops of ice cream (vanilla ice cream)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Caramelize the sugar in a heatproof pan and deglaze with the orange juice. Simmer until the caramel has dissolved, then reduce by half. Add the strawberries, heat briefly, and then flambé with the Cointreau. Garnish with a spoonful each of crème fraîche and mint. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
