Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 8 tomatoes
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves, more may be needed
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • Salt and pepper or tomato seasoning
  • Basil, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Slice the tomatoes and place them on a plate. Make a broth from olive oil, vinegar, crushed garlic, pepper, and salt (or tomato seasoning). Pour it over the tomatoes. Arrange the sliced ​​mozzarella on top and sprinkle with more tomato seasoning. Garnish with a few basil leaves. Cover and let stand for 3-4 hours.
