Philadelphia – Cream with cherries

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 400 ml sweet cream
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • 1 pack of cake glaze, clear
  • 200 g almond(s), flakes
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Using a hand mixer, beat the Philadelphia with 100g of sugar, the vanilla sugar, and the egg yolk until fluffy. Add the cream and beat until creamy. Thicken the sour cherries with the glaze; let cool. In a bowl, add a layer of cream, then a layer of cherries, and finally another large layer of cream. Toast the almond flakes with the remaining sugar and fat and sprinkle over the cream while still hot. Chill the mixture for 24 hours.
