Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 8 tomatoes
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 4 garlic cloves, more may be needed
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- Salt and pepper or tomato seasoning
- Basil, fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes
Slice the tomatoes and place them on a plate. Make a broth from olive oil, vinegar, crushed garlic, pepper, and salt (or tomato seasoning). Pour it over the tomatoes. Arrange the sliced mozzarella on top and sprinkle with more tomato seasoning. Garnish with a few basil leaves. Cover and let stand for 3-4 hours.
