Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 200 g marzipan – raw mass
- 1 egg(s), separated
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 dl milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- Butter for greasing
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 hours; Total time approx. 20 hours 15 minutes
Separate the egg, beat the egg whites, and mix all ingredients into a smooth, runny batter. Brush the baking sheet with butter and dust with flour. Spread the batter in a circle on the baking sheet; it must be evenly thick—important! Bake for about 3 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C until light brown. Immediately place the circles, while still hot, on upside-down cups so they take on the cup shape, and let them cool. These bowls can be used to fill all kinds of desserts, sorbets, or fruit salads. Those with artistic talent can also bake the batter into leaves or other shapes and decorate them with cocoa powder or icing sugar.
