delicious with pancakes, ice cream or other desserts

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer gently over medium heat until the blueberries burst and a thick sauce forms. This usually takes about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Lightly mash the blueberries with the round end of a tablespoon. If the sauce isn’t thick enough, simply add a little more cornstarch until the desired consistency is reached. The sauce is delicious hot or cold and goes well with many desserts, cakes, or pancakes.
