with potato dough

Boil the potatoes in salted water. When they’re tender, peel them immediately and press them through a potato ricer. Mix with flour, cornstarch, egg yolk, whole egg, and salt to form a dough. Divide the dough into equal-sized pieces and flatten them. Place a teaspoon of poppy seed filling on each piece and form dumplings. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the dumplings, and let them rise to the surface. Then remove with a slotted spoon. Melt the butter, add the poppy seeds and sugar, and roll the dumplings in it. Sprinkle with a little sugar.
