Apricot dumplings

Knead the dough from 250g of quark, a pinch of salt, the flour, and about 60g of butter and let it rest for 20 minutes. Fill the washed and pitted apricots with a slit in the side, then fill each with a sugar cube. Then form the dough into eight dumplings, placing a stuffed apricot in the center of each. Place the filled dumplings in boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes. Toast the breadcrumbs in 40g of butter until golden brown, then roll the finished apricot dumplings in the dough. Mix the remaining quark with the cream, season with sugar, pour over the finished apricot dumplings, and dust with cinnamon.
