Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
easy to prepare, so you can also make strawberry ice cream outside of the season
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a mixer. Pour the finished mixture into the ice cream maker and freeze. Once the ice cream maker is ready, leave the ice cream in the freezer for several hours to set. Information on the amount of jam: The amount of jam you use depends largely on the sweetness of your jam. For example, I use homemade strawberry jam, which I cooked with a fruit to sugar ratio of 3:1. This gives me a total sugar content of 220 g in the ice cream, taking into account the average sugar content of the strawberries and the amount of gelling sugar used. If you are using ready-made jam, simply check the nutritional information to see how much sugar your jam contains. I would also recommend tasting the ice cream mixture to find the optimal amount. With 6 servings, 1 serving has approximately 300 kcal.
