Pasta with spicy barbecue sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 small can of corn
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 large pepper, fresh, red
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ketchup, hot
  • 2 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 200 g Cabanossi
  • 500 g spaghetti or tagliatelle
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente and drain. Drain corn. Peel and dice onions. Heat oil and sauté onions until translucent. Deseed peppers and slice into rings. Add to the diced onions and sauté. Add tomatoes and corn. Season with salt, mustard, and ketchup. Simmer for 6-8 minutes. Cut Cabanossi into thin slices and heat in the sauce.
