Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 100 g nougat (nut nougat)
  • 2 eggs, fresh
  • 30 g pistachios, shelled and ground
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp liqueur (almond liqueur), or a little more
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 30 minutes

Melt the nougat in a double boiler or in the microwave. Gradually stir the eggs into the melted nougat until a smooth cream forms. Mix in the pistachios, lemon juice, and liqueur. Whip the cream with the sifted powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and gradually fold it into the nougat cream. Pour the mixture into a 1-liter freezer container and freeze for approximately 7-8 hours. The ice cream should be consumed within a week.
