  • 4 swordfish steaks, 180 g each
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • Thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 spring onions
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 1 tbsp coriander, fresh
  • 1 tsp chili sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 36 minutes

Prepare the ingredients – mix the spices, drizzle the fish with lemon juice, and season. Dice the avocado and immediately toss with the lime juice. Finely grate the garlic cloves, thinly slice the spring onions, peel the cucumber, scrape out the soft center with a spoon, and finely dice. Wash and finely chop the cilantro. Mix the avocado, onion, and cucumber with the garlic and cilantro to make the salsa and chill. Before serving, season with the chili sauce and a little more lime juice, if desired. Grill/fry the fish on the grill (or in a pan if necessary) for 3 minutes on each side. Serve the fish with the salsa and white bread. Serve with a light leaf salad and a dry white wine.
