Strawberry curd with ginger, cinnamon and honey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g strawberries, preferably fresh
  • 300 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 4 tbsp apple juice, no added sugar
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder
  • 4 tbsp honey (linden blossom honey, or another tasty variety)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 400 g sweet cream
  • 4 cl Cointreau

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

sophisticated & delicious

Wash, hull, and halve the strawberries. Finely dice half and mix with the quark, honey, orange juice, ginger, and cinnamon powder. Ladle the quark mixture into dessert bowls, garnish with the remaining strawberry pieces, and drizzle with Cointreau. Whip the cream and serve. Tip: If you like, you can spice things up with a few lemon balm leaves.
