Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of dough (dumpling dough, refrigerated)
- 2 packs of condensed milk
- 1 pack of jerked meat
- some minced meat, fried meat or liver sausage
- some butter for frying
- 1 pinch of salt
- pepper
- Fondor
- Maggi
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
also called ‘Gefillde’ because it is a Saarland recipe
Form the dumpling dough into small dumplings. Fill each dumpling with either browned ground beef or liverwurst. Cook in boiling water for about 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the jerked beef into small cubes. Fry in hot butter in a saucepan or deep-sided frying pan until golden brown. Then add the condensed milk and season with Fondor, pepper, a pinch of salt, and Maggi. Arrange the dumplings on plates and spoon the sauce and jerked beef over the dumplings. Serve immediately.
