Fruity – light summer dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 pack of sauce powder (vanilla) without cooking
  • n. B. sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 slice(s) pineapple, fresh or from the can
  • 50 g currants

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

can be varied with many types of fruit

Whip the cream until stiff (if desired, use cream stiffener). Dissolve the sauce powder in the milk. This will form a viscous mixture. Stir the vanilla milk into the quark, add the vanilla sugar and more sugar, if desired, and mix everything until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream. Cut the pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Rinse the currants and add sugar if desired. Now either layer the fruit alternately with the cream in a tall dessert glass, or place the fruit in a shallow bowl and cover with the cream. Serve garnished with fruit, if desired. Tip: You can, of course, experiment with many other types of fruit (e.g. kiwi and strawberries).
