Greek-style minced meat and green beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • some oil
  • 500 g minced beef or mixed minced meat
  • 250 g beans, green, frozen
  • 1 gr. can/n tomatoes, peeled or pizza tomatoes
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste, if desired
  • 4 servings of natural yogurt, to taste
  • 4 servings of rice or flatbread as a side dish

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Thinly slice the onions and fry briefly in oil. Add the ground beef and fry well. Add the beans and continue to stir-fry until the beans are somewhat thawed. Then add the canned tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook everything with the lid on for about 15-20 minutes. The beans should still be crunchy. Finally, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, if desired. In the meantime, cook the rice as a side dish; alternatively, serve the flatbread with the natural yogurt.
