Pizza sauce without tomatoes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 bell peppers, red
  • 150 ml water
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp oregano or thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Low histamine

Deseed and dice the bell peppers. Peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil, add the onion, and sauté. Then add the bell peppers and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add water, apple cider vinegar, paprika, and turmeric powder and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Let the pizza sauce cool and purée with a hand blender. Add the dried herbs and season with salt.
