  • some bacon cubes
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 bread dumplings from the previous day
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some milk
  • some parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely dice the onion. Quarter the cold dumplings and slice them. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the dumplings briefly on both sides until browned. Transfer the dumplings to a plate and set aside. Fry the bacon in the pan and fry the diced onion until translucent. Then add the fried dumplings. Crack the egg over the dumpling and onion mixture, season with parsley and spices, and stir-fry until cooked through. Serve with a green salad.
