Macaroni and Mettwurst pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g sausage, coarse Mettwurst (half ring)
  • 500 g pasta (macaroni, break 3-4 times)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped or squeezed
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Macaroni with coarse Mettwurst

Sauté the diced onions in butter until translucent, add the garlic and the finely chopped Mettwurst sausage, and fry briefly. Cook the broken macaroni in salted water (al dente, see package instructions if necessary), drain well, and add to the pan with the onions and Mettwurst sausage. Mix everything well and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
