Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork roulade(s)
- 2 Knackwurst or pepper bites
- 1 jar sauerkraut
- 100 g cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- n. B. broth
- 1 onion(s)
- e.g. sour cream
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
First, spread out the pork roulades and pound them lightly. Season them with salt and pepper. Then, distribute the drained sauerkraut and grated cheese over the roulades. Halve the sausages and place half a slice on each portion. Then, roll up the roulades and secure them with a pin. Brown the roulades in oil, deglaze with broth, and simmer for about an hour, depending on their size. For the sauce, simmer an onion with the roulades. I thicken it with sour cream and blend it until smooth. Sauerkraut and dumplings go well with it, of course.
