Marinated strawberries

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 tsp, leveled rose water
  • e.g. quark or yogurt
  • e.g. vanilla pudding
  • n. B. ice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Marinate them in a bowl with a level teaspoon of rose water and let them steep for a while. It’s best to start with a little rose water; otherwise, depending on your taste, it can quickly become too strong. Place the strawberries in glasses or bowls. The marinated strawberries make a lovely accompaniment to quark or yogurt dishes, vanilla pudding, or ice cream. They can also be decorated with cookies, chocolate, etc.
