Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 50 g cane sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 50 g flour
- 50 g ground almonds
- 75 g oat flakes
- 100 g butter
- 2 g cinnamon
- 4 apples
- 2 tbsp white wine or apple juice

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 hours 40 minutes; Total time approx. 5 hours 55 minutes
for the slow cooker
Peel the apples, core them, and cut them into wedges. Place them in the slow cooker and drizzle with the wine or apple juice, if desired. Then, knead the remaining ingredients into a dough and spread it on the apples like crumbles. Cover the slow cooker and cook the cake on “low” for 5 hours 30 minutes. Then, bake the cake in the slow cooker insert (not for ceramic ovens) for 10 minutes at 220°C in the oven on “grill setting.” This will give it a slightly crispy texture.
