Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 4 bananas
  • 8 slices of puff pastry
  • 8 scoops of ice cream (vanilla ice cream)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • some condensed milk
  • possibly whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry sheets side by side. Peel the bananas and halve them lengthwise. Place half a banana on each rolled-out sheet of puff pastry and wrap tightly. Whisk the egg yolk with a dash of condensed milk and brush the parcels with it. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 15-18 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream; you can also serve it with whipped cream.
