Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 lemon(s) (juice)
  • 100 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp fat (for the mold)
  • possibly almond(s), sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and quarter the apples, removing the cores. Cut the apple quarters into large wedges, sauté with lemon juice and about 3 tablespoons of water for about 3 minutes. They shouldn’t get too soft. Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter into crumbles. Arrange the apple slices in a greased baking dish and cover with the crumbles. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy. If desired, you can also top with almond flakes. Tastes great with ice cream or vanilla sauce.
