Heddus – Fried dumplings – pan

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 50 g ham (e.g. smoked pork), diced
  • 500 g dumplings, half and half, mini, or from the day before, cooked, quartered
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 m.-sized tomato(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onion. Wash and finely chop the chives. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the diced onion and ham. Add the dumplings and fry until golden brown. Beat the eggs, season with salt and pepper, then stir in the chives. Pour the egg mixture over the dumplings and let set over low heat for 15 minutes. Wash, deseed, and dice the tomato, and sprinkle over the dumplings before serving. Serve with fresh salad.
