Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 m.-large zucchini
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Clarified butter or vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the egg, flour, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Whisk the egg while mixing. Wash the zucchini and cut into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Then season the zucchini slices with salt and pepper on both sides. Then coat the seasoned slices in flour, then dip them in the egg, let them drain briefly, and then coat them in the breadcrumbs. Heat the fat or oil in a pan and fry the breaded zucchini until golden brown on both sides.
