Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 360 g lentils, red
- 3 eggs
- 200 g yogurt
- 50 g vegetable oil
- 125 g sheep’s cheese
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 5 g baking soda
- 1 tbsp black cumin seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ bunch dill and/or parsley
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- Sesame and black cumin seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Soak the lentils for at least 2 hours or overnight. Place the soaked, drained lentils in a bowl. Add the eggs, oil, and yogurt. Blend everything with a hand blender until smooth. Add the cheese, dill and/or parsley, salt, chili flakes, baking soda, and baking powder and mix everything together. Transfer to a greased dish and sprinkle with black cumin seeds and sesame seeds. Bake in an oven preheated to 175-180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Use a skewer to test whether the batter is still sticky. Allow to cool and serve either with a dip or on its own.
