Balsamic turkey breast with peppers and spaetzle

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g spaetzle
  • 300 g turkey breast
  • some flour
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 ml broth
  • 80 g crème fraîche
  • Paprika powder
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the spaetzle according to the package instructions. Dice the turkey breast and dust with flour. Peel the onion, trim and deseed the bell peppers. Dice both. Brown them with the meat in heated oil. Add paprika. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and deglaze with balsamic vinegar. Top up with broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the crème fraîche. Serve with the cooked spaetzle. Tip: Rice also works well with this dish instead of spaetzle.
