Marinated shrimp

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g frozen shrimp tails
  • ½ tsp sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 16 minutes

fried or grilled, solo or on salad

Mix all ingredients for the marinade thoroughly. Thaw the frozen shrimp. Wash the shrimp, trimming if necessary, and pat dry. Add them to the marinade, mix well, and let stand for at least 2 hours, stirring frequently. Drain and either fry in a pan in a little neutral, heat-resistant oil for about 3 minutes on each side or place them on the grill (in an aluminum tray or on skewers). They’re delicious on their own as a small snack or on salads.
