Cherries in raspberry spirit

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g cherries
  • 200 g pineapple, fresh
  • 500 g sugar
  • 700 ml raspberry liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the pineapple flesh into fine pieces, place it in a bowl, mix it with the sugar, and refrigerate overnight. The next day, heat gently until the sugar dissolves. Strain the fruit mixture through a fine sieve and let it cool. Then mix it with the raspberry brandy. Wash the cherries, trim the stems slightly, layer the fruit in a jar, and pour the pineapple mixture over them. Close the jar tightly and let it steep for at least 2 months. Ideal for sparkling wine cocktails or for decorating Black Forest cake.
