Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 bell peppers, red, diced
- 2 onions, coarsely chopped
- 180 ml sauce (hot chili sauce)
- 2 small cans of mushrooms, drained
- Salt and pepper, 16 cevapcici
- possibly spice mix (vegetable)
- Paprika powder
- 180 ml water
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Halve or third the cevapcici. Sear them in a pan until hot, then set aside while warm. Sauté the diced peppers and onions in a deep pot. Pour the chili sauce over them. Fill the empty chili bottle with water and add. Stir a few times and season to taste. Simmer on the stove for about 15 minutes. Then add the mushrooms and cevapcici and stir. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 20 minutes. Serve hot. Serve with crusty bread and crème fraîche, if desired. Tip: Don’t chop the peppers and onions too finely.
