Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 small jar of Puszta salad
  • 2 small jars of mushrooms, sliced, or 1 large jar
  • 2 cans of goulash soup
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 200 g sweet cream
  • Tabasco
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onions and dice them into fairly small cubes. Then fry them in oil, add the minced meat, and fry well. Add the Puszta salad and its broth, stir well. Add the tomato paste, drained mushrooms, and the goulash soup, stir well again. Season with Tabasco, salt, pepper, and paprika to taste – the soup tastes best when it’s hot. Finally, add the processed cheese, mandarin oranges, and cream. Simmer until the cheese melts, stirring occasionally. Done! This goes perfectly with delicious stick bread or toasted white bread and a sweet or semi-dry white wine. Beer is also a good choice…
