Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 ml milk, 3.5% fat
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sugar or amount to taste
  • 1 pinch of spice mix (Arabic coffee spice)
  • 1 cup whipped cream, 200 g
  • 2 tsp San-apart

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

without egg, simple

Pour 400 ml of milk into a saucepan, break up the dark chocolate, and melt it slowly in the milk. Add sugar and Arabic coffee spice to taste. In the meantime, whisk together the remaining 100 ml of milk and the cornstarch until smooth. Once the chocolate has melted in the milk, increase the heat to high and bring the chocolate milk to a boil. Then stir the smooth cornstarch into the boiling chocolate milk, turn off the heat, and continue to cook on the hot stovetop for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the stovetop and allow to cool, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming. When the pudding has cooled completely, whip the cream with San-apart until stiff peaks form and fold into the pudding. Then pour into serving glasses and chill in the refrigerator.
