Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml milk
  • 30 g sugar
  • 20 g butter
  • 80 g chocolate
  • 1 tsp rum or rum flavoring
  • ½ pack of pudding powder (vanilla)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pt ladyfingers (ladyfingers)
  • 250 ml cream
  • n. B. Fruits

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Take 3 tablespoons of the cold milk and whisk in the egg yolks and pudding mix until smooth. Briefly bring the remaining milk to a boil with the sugar, butter, chocolate, and rum. Stir in the pudding mix and bring everything to a boil. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and stir into the still-hot pudding. Layer the cream and sponge fingers in a chilled loaf pan. Once cooled, turn out and garnish with cream and your choice of fruit. Tip: Line the loaf pan with cling film beforehand to ensure the pudding doesn’t stick.
