Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 liter of wine
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 6 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Bring the wine, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla sugar to a boil. Mix the cornstarch with a little water and add to the mixture. Remove the pan from the heat. Allow the mixture to cool. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
