Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g breakfast bacon
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 500 g farfalle or gnocchi
- 1 egg(s)
- 50 ml milk
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Cut the bacon into finger-width strips and fry in a pan over medium heat. Meanwhile, peel and chop the onion and garlic, and sauté in the rendered bacon fat until translucent. Fry the bacon over constant heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly crispy. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and add to the bacon. Whisk the egg with milk, salt, and pepper and pour over the pasta. Mix everything well and wait until the egg is slightly set. Serve immediately.
