Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 ml vinegar (red wine)
- 150 ml red wine
- 300 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cm ginger root
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- 1 kg mixed fruits (e.g. apples, pears, plums)

Bring the vinegar, wine, sugar, cinnamon, chili pepper, and sliced ginger to a boil. Clean and slice the fruit. Simmer in the liquid for 3 minutes. Remove the fruit and place it in a glass. Reduce the liquid for 5 minutes and pour it over the fruit. It tastes great with game, chicken, and duck. It’s a highlight for party buffets and fondue. The liquid can be used to make dressings.
