Marinated pork neck steaks

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg pork neck, whole, boneless
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 onion(s), cut into rings
  • 1 tbsp sea salt, coarse
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp spice mix (grill spice)
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • ½ tube(s) Tomato paste, 3-fold concentrated
  • 10 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco
  • 2 dashes lemon juice
  • ¼ liter of water
  • Pepper, ground, amount as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes

for grilling

First, wash the meat, pat dry, and cut into approximately 2 cm thick slices. Combine all ingredients to make a marinade and let the steaks marinate in the marinade in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours, preferably 48 hours. Grill for about 7 minutes on each side. Serve with salad, rice, and beans.
