Tuna steak with thyme and lemon crust

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tsp, heaped breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • Thyme
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • 1 tuna steak, approx. 1 – 1.5 cm thick
  • lemon(s)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Quick, sophisticated dish

Mix the cream cheese with breadcrumbs, thyme, and Parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and garlic. Sear the tuna steak for about 2 minutes on one side, turn over, spread with the cream cheese, and broil for about 5-6 minutes. Serve with a lemon wedge. Serve with rice or pasta with sautéed cherry tomatoes, seasoned with thyme.
