Instructions

Christmas jam with fruits, punch and spices

Wash the plums, pear, and chokeberry. Pit the plums and pear and puree them with the chokeberry. Peel the honey pomelo and lightly crush the flesh of about three wedges with your hands. Place the fruit in a large pot, cover with gelling sugar, and let it absorb briefly. Add the children’s punch and spices. Bring everything to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer for another 3 minutes. Pour the jam into jars while still hot and seal tightly with lids. Turn the jars upside down for about 5 minutes, then turn them upside down again and let cool. Tip: If you like, you can vary the recipe with other fruits and spices, or try the alcoholic version with mulled wine.
