Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g pasta shells
  • 1 pair of Vienna sausages, sliced
  • 200 g beef, cooked, cut into cubes
  • 100 g pickled gherkins, cut into strips
  • 180 g pumpkin(s), sweet and sour pickled, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp Pimientos de Padrón, as desired
  • 3 tbsp oil, e.g. soybean oil
  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Parsley
  • dill
  • e.g. celery salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes

with pickled pumpkin

Cook the pasta in a little salted water until al dente, rinse with cold water, and drain. For the dressing, whisk together the vinegar and oil, adding the spices and herbs to taste. Add the remaining salad ingredients to the pasta and mix gently. Mix in the dressing and let the salad marinate for a while.
