Pear juice with apple and cinnamon

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 kg pear(s)
  • 1 large apple
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp, heaped sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Peel the fruit and cut into pieces. Place everything in a saucepan and fill with 1 liter of water. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon and simmer over medium heat for 45 minutes. After cooking, remove from the heat and let stand for 1 hour, then pour through a sieve, collecting the juice, and let the fruit drain. You can make jam from the fruit, but it tastes good on its own. Reheat the juice, pour it into a hot bottle, seal it, and let it cool. Once the juice has cooled, store it in the refrigerator and consume within 4 weeks.
