Strawberry – Pineapple – Apple – Peach – Jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries, pure pulp
  • 600 g pineapple, pure pulp
  • 600 g peach(s), pure pulp
  • 600 g apple, pure pulp without peel
  • 1,500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • possibly rum, high-proof

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

delicious summer jam made from 4 fruits

Cut the prepared fruit (depending on the variety, wash it beforehand and remove the peel, etc.) into large pieces and heat it in a large pot with 1/2 kg of gelling sugar, then puree it with a hand blender. You can, of course, also cut the fruit into smaller pieces and cook it without pureeing. Add the remaining gelling sugar and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Test for settling. Immediately pour into the prepared, cleaned jars (a jam funnel works very well) and seal tightly. I “disinfect” the jars with spent 80% rum, which I describe in more detail in my recipe for currant and pineapple jam.
