Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g gyros meat
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 cup of tzatziki, approx. 400 g
- 1 cucumber(s)
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 pack of chips, paprika sticks, pretzels or similar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Layered salad of gyros, tzatziki, tomatoes, cucumber and chips
Brown the gyro meat in a pan with a little oil, then let it cool. Finely slice the onion. Wash the cucumber and tomatoes and cut them into sticks. Now stack everything in a nice glass bowl and arrange it on top of each other in the following order: gyro meat, onions, tzatziki, cucumber, tzatziki, tomato, tzatziki, and chips. It’s best to add the chips just before serving, as the salad needs to chill in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours.
