Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 stalk(s) leek
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 250 g pork
  • 250 g beef
  • 100 g bacon (smoked, streaky)
  • 1 cube of broth, clear
  • ¼ liter of water
  • ¼ liter white wine
  • 2 tbsp mustard (coarse)
  • Thyme
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 45 minutes

Stew made from various vegetables and meat

Cut the meat and bacon into bite-sized cubes, mix with the mustard, and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Trim the leek and slice it into rings. Peel and dice the potatoes and onions. Mix the potatoes, leek, and onions. Pour half of the mixture into a roasting pan, spread the marinated meat on top, and cover with the remaining vegetables. Dissolve the stock cube in boiling water and add it to the roasting pan. Top with the white wine until almost completely covered. Now cover and cook in the oven at 175 degrees Celsius for about 2 hours.
